Tony Boyden, Learning Partner at Zinnia, has been an integral part of the purchase and implementation of the Industry Advantage program. Boyden’s pre-existing relationship with LOMA drove the conversation about how LOMA and Zinnia could partner together to ensure employees gain industry knowledge quickly and effectively.

Zinnia identified a need for new course offerings to address growth opportunities and align with company goals around employee growth and innovation. In looking for a solution, Zinnia sought comprehensive and scalable courses to address diverse training needs, provide up-to-date and relevant content, and offer flexibility in delivery methods. Additionally, they wanted a solution that could provide effectiveness metrics to measure the impact of training needs, relevant content, and delivery methods.

How Zinnia Uses Industry Advantage

Zinnia began implementing Industry Advantage in early 2024 and has seen strong participation and adoption. Tony worked closely with LOMA to follow an organized implementation process to ensure early success.

"The process has been well-received," Tony says. “We initiated [Industry Advantage implementation] with a kick-off communication to all team members, followed by weekly updates and reminders via Slack to keep team members informed and engaged."


Additionally, Industry Advantage was initially highlighted in communications from Zinnia executives, which helped emphasize importance and encouraged widespread participation.

Zinnia has seen a 485% increase in LOMA participation compared to the previous year. Over 700 team members have enrolled in at least one Industry Advantage course, with an average of eighteen courses completed per team member.

The Results

Since implementing Industry Advantage, Zinnia has seen a 485% increase in LOMA participation compared to the previous year. Additionally, 26% of the organization is actively engaged in Industry Advantage.
