The LIC Operations Committee Meeting is a chance for executives from small-to-midsize life insurance companies and fraternals, and relevant service providers, to get together in a unique peer networking meeting. Join us to learn, share your thoughts, and get feedback from others involved in smaller-company operations.

Sample discussion topics from past meetings include:

  • Claims center organization
  • Cross-selling
  • Operating platform migration
  • New technologies

The meeting brings together 15-20 small-to-midsize life insurance company representatives and relevant vendors. The meeting will include speaker presentations as well as activity reports and facilitated discussion among the attendees.

The itinerary includes Introductions and Discussion on Tuesday, September 24 beginning at 2pm Eastern, Networking Dinner, and Meeting Day 2 on Wednesday, September 25, wrapping up with lunch 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Eastern. 

The meeting is open to insurance company executives, with a discounted registration fee for LIC members, group discounts, and a discount for fraternal members of the American Fraternal Alliance. Affiliate Members/Vendors must sponsor the meeting in order to attend (see LIC sponsorship opportunities).

Remote Option Available

Registration can be either in person or remote. Registration fees and discounts are the same - simply select your option in the registration form.

Registration

LIC Committee Meetings are open to insurance companies/fraternals, as well as vendors/service providers that are sponsoring the meeting. Sponsorship Fee will be billed separately (see LIC Sponsorships). 

Insurance Companies

  • LIC Member: $215
  • LOMA/LIMRA Member: $275
  • Nonmember: $375
  • Earlybird Discount: Sign up by September 5 and save $50
  • Group Discount: After two paid registrations, use code GRP75 for 75% off the third and additional attendees
  • Fraternals: AFA Member Societies save $100 - register at the AFA Website

Affiliates/Vendors

  • LIC Member Sponsorship Fee: $850 billed separately
  • Nonmember Sponsorship Fee: $1350 billed separately

  • Additional attendees pay applicable Registration Fee

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations/substitutions and refund requests must be received in writing - please submit your request to customer.service@limra.com. Cancellations received by September 17, 2024, will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after September 17, 2024. Substitutions are allowed at no charge.

The Operations Committee Meeting begins at 2 pm on September 24, with dinner that evening, and ends at 12:30 pm on September 25.
