Highlights

The theme of the 2023 LIC Annual Conference is Navigating Change Together. At every level of each company, we’re focusing forward on new technology, new consumer expectations and needs, and new ways of doing business. We don't need to address all this change in a vacuum - by coming together with top executives from similar small-to-midsize life companies, we can all benefit from the shared knowledge and experience. We’ll hear from companies and individuals who have a unique perspective on growth and innovation, and we’ll engage in interactive sessions designed to send everyone home with practical ideas that can be implemented to help your company succeed.

The LIC Annual Conference brings together senior management from small-to-midsize life insurance companies for networking, education, and interactive discussions on common challenges and innovative solutions.

Itinerary

The itinerary will include a welcoming reception on Wednesday February 1, meeting sessions on Thursday February 2 from 8am to 3pm, LIC's Annual Membership Banquet that evening, and meeting sessions on Friday February 3 from 8am to 11am.

LOMA/LIMRA Members: $1,850
Nonmembers: $2,250

Spouse Fee: $250 enables your spouse/significant other to attend the Receptions, Banquet, Breakfasts and Luncheon.

Earlybird Discount: Register by January 11, 2023, and save $200!

Attention Fraternals: Fraternal organizations that are members of the American Fraternal Alliance are eligible for a discount of $150 sponsored by the AFA, by using the code AFA150. (Discount may be used only once per person, for either the Annual Meeting or the CEO Forum.)

Group Discount for Insurance Companies/Fraternals: After the first two fully paid registrations, additional registrations are 50% off - use discount code GRP50.

2023 COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols

LIMRA and LOMA and LIC are committed to health and safety. We request that all conference and event attendees follow any and all applicable COVID-19 restrictions, rules, and safety requirements at the event that are either required by applicable law, rule or ordinance, or the event location. We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during these unprecedented times.

On-Site at the Event

  • Adhere to social distance protocols.
  • Wash hands frequently throughout the meeting.
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • Comply with any protocol signage displayed.
  • Self-monitor and report any symptoms to meeting organizers immediately.
  • If you are having symptoms and need to seek medical attention, there will be a list of service options available.
  • If you test POSITIVE for COVID:
    • Notify the meeting organizer and if you choose to remain at the conference, self-quarantine in your room for at least three days, or until you receive a NEGATIVE test result.
    • Once you test NEGATIVE, you may return to the conference. Please wear a mask for the duration of the conference.
    • Report your status to the convening team so the proper contact tracing interview can be conducted.

Post Event

  • Notify event organizer if you test positive for COVID-19 up to 14 days after returning home.

Hotel Reservations

On the beautiful bank of Jupiter’s Intracoastal Waterway, the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place is a lifestyle destination hotel where you can enjoy a sense of laid-back luxury and modern elegance.

The Wyndham is about 20 miles (30 minutes' drive) from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), 66 miles (1 hour 11 minutes' drive) from Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), 87 miles (1.5 hours' drive) from Miami International Airport (MIA).

LIC's Group Rate is $339 and $16/day Hotel Services Fee (plus tax). The cut-off date has been extended to Sunday, January 15, 2023. Click here to make your reservation in the LIC block or call in-house reservations at (561) 273-6668 and mention LIC (Monday through Friday 8am-6pm).

Call For Extended Dates: The group rate is available 3 days before and after the meeting, based on availability. If booking online, reserve the dates available and then call in-house reservations to modify the arrival/departure dates.

Reservation cancellation is allowed up until 4pm seven days prior to arrival to avoid a charge of 1 night's room rate plus tax.

Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11 am. Self-parking is discounted to $12/day for the LIC block.
