M. Royster, Sr. of Unitrin Career Agency Companies, Receives the 2009 LIC
Distinguished Service Award
ATLANTA,
GEORGIA
– May 19, 2009 –
Don M. Royster, Sr., CLU, FLMI, RHU, President of the Unitrin Career Agency
Companies, received the 2009 Life Insurers Council Distinguished Service Award
during the 99th Annual Senior Management Conference in Washington, D.C. on April
7.
The award is presented to an individual who has greatly contributed to the Life
Insurers Council and the companies it represents.
Royster has over 41 years of life and health industry experience. He has
held executive positions throughout his career as executive vice president of
Life of Georgia, president and CEO of Atlanta Life Insurance Company and vice
president of Washington National Insurance Company. Since joining United in 1998
as senior vice president, he has had numerous promotions and his
responsibilities have expanded to include serving as president of the Reliable
Life, Union National and its Board of Directors and serving as president of
Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company. He attained the position as president of
the Unitrin Career Agency Companies in January 2002.
